Whilst shopping in Chippenham today I met a couple of ladies from Clift House who were at the Christmas Party last Friday. They both said how much they enjoyed the evening – “the best yet” is how they described it.
As we were leaving the Stourhead site on Sunday after performing at the ‘Scones and Songs’ event we were asked for a copy of our latest CD by a visitor who had heard us singing. During that sale a passing lady kindly expressed the view that we were ‘talented singers’.
It was very nice to receive such positive feedback from those who listened to our performances that afternoon.
The following was received from the organiser of our concert at the Lawn Community Centre, Swindon on 23rd September 2017.
“Many thanks once again to you and EOTT group members for a very enjoyable evening of entertainment. The buzz afterwards from the people who attended was fantastic to witness so ‘thank you’ to you all. For example, Colin has always enjoyed your performances but in his opinion last night was the best yet!”
The following comment was received via email from the activities co-ordinator after our performance in Royal Wootton Bassett on Wednesday 24th May 2017:-
“Just a note to say how much we enjoyed your visit to Bassett House last week. We have had so many comments from residents saying how much they enjoyed the event and asking that you return and visit them again, I hope we can arrange that if your diary allows. Please express our grateful thanks to all your colleagues, it really was a fun event and our residents loved it.”
The following message was received via email on the morning after our performance at the Chipping Sodbury Town Hall. The email was sent by the Rotary Club member who had booked our group.
“Just a quick note to say thank you for last night. The audience very much enjoyed the excellent entertainment provided by you and your band colleagues. You connected very well with the audience which is not easy given the particular mix present last night. Moreover us Rotarians and the ladies from our Inner Wheel group very much enjoyed the evening. It was just a pity that two of the care homes cried off at the last minute thus reducing the audience by 25……
Best wishes for your summer season ahead.
On behalf of Chipping Sodbury Rotary Club.”
In addition, the next evening we were contacted by the chairman of a residents association in Yate telling us about the experiences of 20 members who had attended the concert. They had all returned saying how much they had enjoyed the evening, and asking her to book the group for later in the year. We will be following this up.
Following the performance for the residents of the Fairways Residential Home in Chippenham the following email was received from a member of the audience:-
‘I cannot let last evening pass into history without placing on record how much
I (and I think everyone present) enjoyed your singing.
The only concern I had was that you appeared to be drinking “water” and that we perhaps
ought to make an effort to prevent a recurrence of that oversight.!
I do hope we will see you again in the not too distant future.’
